As a family-owned business founded by Robert E. Taylor, we take pride in continuing his vision of providing personalized service for each client.
Robert’s employee benefits career began in 1977 with BlueCross BlueShield of Florida. During his tenure with BlueCross BlueShield, he was one of the top sales executives before leading the company’s largest district office in Miami-Dade County. In 1981, Robert left Blue Cross Blue Shield to start an independent agency focused on the types of services many of his larger clients were asking for in the marketplace. This client-centric approach remains at the forefront of CIS’s current mission.
Innovative Leadership and Benefits Expertise
Today, CIS is owned and led by President William K. Taylor. William has been involved in the business since 1990. Learning the family business from the ground up, he has been able to master a knowledge of the industry and innovate ways to enhance and modernize every step of the client experience. William oversees all aspects of operations, sales, and contemporary services provided to our valued clients.
Serving as Vice President, Bobbye Wines, LMHC, leverages more than 20 years of vast expertise in behavioral health administration to support organizations and groups. She has a master’s degree in Professional Counseling as well as experience in administering a 60-bed hospital. Bobbye is fluent in the needs of large employers and understands how important benefits are to organizations of every size.
